Scientific Advisor

Dr. Clifton is currently a Staff Surgical Oncologist and the Associate Program Director for Research at the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in Texas. Dr. Clifton:

  • Graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2006, after which he completed a residency at the United States Army Medical Center
  • Also practices at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, KY
  • Is an ACS Fellow
  • Has experience running multi-site clinical trials for a cancer immunotherapy, including ones involving combination approaches with checkpoint inhibitors. Furthermore, he has helped Metaclipse to design better, more efficient clinical trials to effectively evaluate our personalized vaccines
  • Has over 35 articles published in top-tier scientific journals on various cancer immunotherapy approaches
